Dharanibalan has completed a Masters’ degree (by Research) in Biotechnology and is a Junior Research Fellow in the Vascular Biology Laboratory headed by Dr. Suvro Chatterjee at Anna University, Chennai. His research work focused on to investigate the omics analysis of microgravity sensitized endothelial cells and its therapeutic applications.

Under the RUBICON exchange programme, he is visiting Prof. Anna Teti’s laboratory at University of L Aquila, Italy, for 12 months from March 2017 to February 2018. During this period, he is investigating the osteoclast alterations in osteopetrosis and the Lipocalin 2 signalling in osteoblasts and endothelial cells.
